What better superhero to have on a GREEN Eggs and Art blog than Green Lantern? Ol' GL was my third favorite superhero when I was a kid, behind Kid Flash/Flash (yeah, I count them as one) and Spider-Man. In my (young) mind, Green Lantern was a superhero that I actually had a shot of becoming! I mean, chances are I wasn't gonna get super speed from being doused with chemicals after a lightning strike, and there weren't that many radioactive spiders around, but a Power Ring? Heck, surely one of THOSE would fall outta outer space and I'd be the one to find it! Well, needless to say, that didn't happen, and as I reached my pre-teen years I read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and found out that, well, finding a Ring of Power might not be the best thing to happen after all. Still, Green Lantern was cool, so here he is.
Now that I think about it, perhaps that's why I've never liked the color yellow. Hmmm ...
